About Me

I returned from my first year of college last May with new friendships, great stories, but also the inevitable "freshman 15", or rather in my case, the freshman 20. Add to that the extra 20 pounds that I had gained throughout high school, and I wasn't sitting pretty. I had tried Weight Watchers in the past and managed to successfully lose weight, but keeping the weight off was the hard part. I added back on the 15 pounds, plus some, leading me to the state that I was in last summer. I decided to do something about it, but did not want to do a "fad" diet or any weight loss program, not only because they were expensive, but also because they could be dangerous to my health. What I decided to do instead was change my lifestyle, and I have never felt or looked better.

I had foot surgery 2 months ago, causing me to become almost completely immobile. Even through my couch potato days, I have managed to not gain any weight, simply by eating right.
